Together, we can make Christmas unforgettable.
This Christmas, 150+ Detroit children — selected through our partner schools and our own Sunday mornings — will be adopted by people who decided a kid they've never met matters. This page is where you become one of those people.
The push begins the third week of September.

Four doors in. Pick yours.
Adopt
Sponsor a child or a whole family — gifts, experiences, and the feeling of being chosen. Individuals, families, small groups, and companies all adopt.
Donate
Give toward gifts, experiences, and essential needs. Every dollar lands on a real child's Christmas morning.
Serve
Help pack gifts, wrap, and deliver. The season runs on hands — yours count.
Share
Spread the word and invite others to be part of bringing hope. One share finds one more sponsor.
What adopting includes

The classic
Adopt a Child
$100
One child's Christmas, covered. We send you their gift list — age, sizes, wishes — and you shop with that child in mind. Wrap it, bring it in, and we take it from there.

Where the children come from
Registration doesn't happen on a website. It happens inside our partner schools, where children are selected with their teachers and counselors — plus the children who are with us on Sunday mornings. No family applies in public. No child knows they were on a list. They just get chosen.

Where it all lands
The Impact of Christmas
Every adopted family is invited to Impact City Church during the holidays to receive their gifts at one of our Impact of Christmas events. Not a pickup line in a parking lot — a celebration, with their name on it. Sponsors, you're invited to be in the room where it happens.

Our partners in hope
Hope 4 the Holidays is carried by partners who show up year after year — and there's room at this table for more.

Sponsor questions, answered straight
- How does the gift list work?
- Once you're matched, we send the child's list — age, sizes, and wishes. You shop with that child in mind, wrap the gifts, and bring them to the church by the date we give you. We handle everything after that.
- Do I get to meet the child?
- No — and that's on purpose. The children never know they were on a list, and families receive their gifts at our Impact of Christmas celebration with their dignity fully intact. Sponsors are invited to be in the room; the connection happens without anyone being put on display.
- Can my company or group adopt more than one child?
- Absolutely — companies, classrooms, and small groups adopt blocks of children every year. Tell us your size on the form and we'll match you.
- When does everything happen?
- The push begins the third week of September, sponsors shop through the fall, and every gift lands at an Impact of Christmas event in December. Exact dates come to you when you sign up.
- Is my gift tax-deductible?
- Monetary gifts through the Donate door are — Impact City Church is a registered non-profit and statements come through Church Center. For gifts you purchase directly, ask us about an in-kind receipt.
Count me in
Tell us how you want in and how to reach you — a real person follows up with everything you need.
Be somebody's one more.
For fifteen years and seven thousand children, somebody like you decided Christmas wasn't optional. There's a child in one of those schools right now who will remember this one for the rest of their life — the only question is what they'll remember about it.
